Description
This form can also be used when applying for a permit to place a skip in a parking bay.
Work permits are available for Commercially taxed vehicles in Cork City. Work permits cannot be used in any of the Pedestrianised streets a full list of streets is available below under Eligibility.

Permit Cost:
1 hour zone: €25 per day
2 hour zone: €12.50 per day
Eligibility
Cork City Council, as part of its plan to implement a programme of measures to support the local economy and to support both residents and the public in living and working in the city centre and town centres while learning to live with this Pandemic, brought forward proposals to permanently pedestrian streets and following a consultation period Cork City Council confirmed the permanent pedestrianisation of 17 streets as follows:
The Marina, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Oliver Plunkett Street from 11am to 4am, 7 days a week
Maylor Street from 11 am to 5 pm, 7 days a week
Grafton Street, from 11am to 4am, 7 days a week
Marlboro Street South, from 11am to 4am, 7 days a week
Cook Street South, from 11am to 4am, 7 days a week
Robert Street, from 11am to 4am, 7 days a week
Morgan Street, from 11am to 4am, 7 days a week
Caroline Street, from 11am to 4am, 7 days a week
Smith Street, from 11am to 4am, 7 days a week, from its junction with Oliver Plunkett Street to its junction with Phoenix Street
Pembroke Street, from 9.30 am to 4am, 7 days a week
Phoenix Street, from 9.30 am to 4am, 7 days a week, from its junction with Pembroke Street to its junction with Crane Lane
Beasley Street, from 9.30 am to 4am, 7 days a week
Princes Street South, 9.30 am to 4am, 7 days a week
Tuckey Street, 11am to 4 am, 7 days a week
Little Cross Street 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Little Ann Street, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Emmet Place, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
